It’s been the sort of week where if I’m going to indulge in treats, I need to burn it off too.

Back from a terrific week in Wales – meeting dragons, making medieval bread and getting very, very muddy! My trencher loaf recipe is in this week’s blog.

This week’s been at full-pace so once I’ve posted this blog, time for some lion down! (I’ll get my coat…)

What a week! I wasn’t particularly looking forward to turning 40 but if every week is like this one’s been, I reckon I could get used to it.

I’ve had a really busy week this week, trying to get to as many places as possible before the imminent arrival of baby number three. It’s definitely got me in the mood for more Christmas baking too!

It’s been a busy couple of weeks since my last blog post. One of my post-GBBO highlights has been appearing on my favourite gameshow, Pointless, which aired last night. It was such a laugh watching it back yesterday. If you haven’t seen it yet, catch it on iPlayer as there are spoilers below!
A reflective week this week. After a cracking Great British Bake Off final I’ve been looking back at some of my own highlights of the past year.
Back from an incredible weekend at Jamie Oliver & Alex James’s Big Feastival – WOW! Flaked on the sofa now with a Chinese take away, enjoying the luxury of dry feet and an inside loo.
Back from Jimmy’s Farm with a well-earned hangover and a very soggy tent after a cracking weekend!
A great week ending in my daughter’s 6th birthday party. My kids’ birthday cakes are one of the main reasons I got into baking in the first place. This one was particularly sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
