I love London Marathon day – massive congratulations to all my mates who ran today. It’s 12 years since I ran the London Marathon myself so today it’s time to put my money where my mouth is. Thankfully there’s a good few bakers up for it next year too.
Settling down with a cup of tea this evening after another busy weekend. I made this mandala cake for a 7th birthday party today and I think it’s my most popular cake yet (certainly on my Instagram!) Some tips on how to make your own on this week’s blog.
It’s been the sort of week where if I’m going to indulge in treats, I need to burn it off too.
This week’s been at full-pace so once I’ve posted this blog, time for some lion down! (I’ll get my coat…)
So apparently 17 January is ‘Ditch Your New Year’s Resolutions‘ day. Don’t beat yourself up about it if you’ve joined this club. When it’s cold outside and you’re skint after Christmas you need to cut yourself some slack!
This week we’ve made the most of the sunshine and spent nearly all of it outdoors – perfect!
