I’ve had a very busy week catching up with a lot of good friends. Hugely proud of Martha too, as she launched her first (of many I’m sure) recipe book, Twist.

All my baking this week has been school related so here’s a delicious and simple recipe for banana bread. It’s a great bake to make with kids and can be scaled up very easily too.

I’ve had a really busy week this week, trying to get to as many places as possible before the imminent arrival of baby number three. It’s definitely got me in the mood for more Christmas baking too!
Today was our youngest daughter’s 3rd birthday party and the first kid’s party we’ve had since the Bake Off aired so the pressure was on on the birthday cake front! I’ve had a pretty awesome baking week as I started shooting for my book this week too.
All work and no play makes Richard a dull boy so I escaped from the kitchen this week and had a blast.
