It’s been a bake-heavy week (for a change!) including a cracking episode of The Great British Bake Off, that’s had me full of ideas for historic bakes. I also visited Liverpool for the first time and after the best welcome ever, I can’t wait to go back!

Party Time!
This week I threw my B.I.Y. Bake It Yourself book launch party and it’s the most fun I’ve had at a party since I got married. Great turn out, ace company, and a numb hand from signing so many books!
Book ‘Em, Danno!
I’ve been surrounded by books this week and not just copies of my own! It’s been really great catching up with so many of my GBBO Class of 2014 Alumni too.
The Big Feastival
Back from an incredible weekend at Jamie Oliver & Alex James’s Big Feastival – WOW! Flaked on the sofa now with a Chinese take away, enjoying the luxury of dry feet and an inside loo.
What Have I Missed?!
La Grande Britannique, erm, Bake Off!
A rainy day in the middle of France after a really busy week so it gives me a chance for a quick blog update.
Bake Off Fever!

While this week’s been a bit crazy for me, there are 12 other people it’s been a whole lot crazier for. I can’t wait for the new series of Bake Off to start this Wednesday – on your marks, get set, BAKE!
Strawberry Fields
Just a quick blog post today as I’m up to my elbows in flour at the moment testing out some new recipes.
Father’s Day? Father’s Week!
I’ve had a fantastic week this week getting to do some really cool things and ending in a great Father’s Day.
Sugar Rush
A great week ending in my daughter’s 6th birthday party. My kids’ birthday cakes are one of the main reasons I got into baking in the first place. This one was particularly sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
